Introduction to the Sony A7R IVA
The Sony A7R IVA features a 61-megapixel Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X image processor. It can shoot at up to 10fps and record UHD 4K30p movies, while also supporting real-time eye AF and tracking AF technology. The improved sensor design uses a fast hybrid AF system with 567 phase detection AF points for fast and accurate focusing performance. Despite such a high-resolution sensor, the Sony A7R IVA is also unique in its flexible ISO range (ISO 100-32000), allowing it to work in a variety of lighting conditions. Additionally, for stills and video operations, the a7R IVA retains 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE sensor-shift image stabilization, which effectively reduces the appearance of camera shake by up to 5.5 stops.
