DJI Mic 3 Overview

DJI Mic 3 is compact and lightweight, supporting both magnetic and clip-on operation. The charging case houses the transmitter, receiver, and accessories. It can connect up to four transmitters and eight receivers simultaneously. When used with designated cameras or software, it supports four independent audio tracks for clear, multi-camera recording with multiple users. The automatic mode effectively prevents clipping, making it ideal for outdoor recordings with noticeable volume fluctuations, such as in sports stadiums. The dynamic mode automatically adjusts gain based on volume fluctuations for balanced loudness, making it ideal for quiet indoor environments like recording studios. The DJI Mic 3 offers three preset sound levels: Normal for a natural and balanced sound, Rich for rich bass, and Bright for clear treble. It also offers two levels of noise reduction: Low for quiet rooms, reducing noise while preserving vocals, and High for louder environments, ensuring crystal-clear sound quality. The Mic 3 supports automatic frequency hopping between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with a transmission range of up to 400 meters. With lossless audio transmission enabled, it also achieves 48kHz 24-bit high-fidelity transmission, ensuring pristine audio quality even in complex environments. Both original and optimized audio can be saved simultaneously, streamlining post-production and preventing loss of footage. DJI Mic 3 also features high dynamic range recording, preserving complete audio information.

The transmitter has an 8-hour battery life, the receiver 10 hours, and the charging case provides a total of 28 hours of battery life. A 5-minute charge provides 2 hours of playback, allowing you to quickly return to your creative state. It supports various smart power-saving features and can be used while charging. It also supports high-precision timecode. The transmitter can record timecode information during internal recording, and the receiver supports timecode input and export, with an error of less than 1 frame within 24 hours.
